Privacy & Confidentiality
A plain-language explanation of how website enquiries are handled and how professional confidentiality is discussed.
This notice applies to information submitted through the Christian Leadership Care Australia website or sent directly by email or telephone. It is intended to help you make an informed choice about what to share when requesting an initial conversation.
Last updated: 29 September 2026
Information collected
The enquiry form may collect your name, email address, telephone number, service of interest and the message you choose to provide. Please share only the information needed to arrange an initial conversation. You do not need to describe traumatic events or provide detailed health information through the website form.
The enquiry form uses an essential session cookie and temporary submission records to reduce spam and duplicate messages. These records contain a protected identifier derived from your network address and attempt times, rather than your message. Records older than 24 hours are removed when the form next processes a verified submission. No external CAPTCHA service is used.
How enquiry information is used
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange a conversation.
- To understand which service may be relevant to your situation.
- To maintain appropriate administrative and professional records.
- To meet legal, ethical, insurance or professional obligations where they apply.
Enquiry information is not sold or used for unrelated marketing. It may pass through the website host, email provider or other service providers needed to operate the practice.
Professional confidentiality
The scope, purpose and boundaries of confidentiality are explained before an engagement begins. Where an organisation funds a service, any agreed administrative reporting is distinguished from the private content of individual sessions. Confidentiality may have legal or safety-related limits, which will be discussed as part of the engagement process.
Storage, access and correction
Reasonable steps are taken to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. No website or email system can be guaranteed completely secure, so highly sensitive details should not be sent through the enquiry form. You may request access to, or correction of, personal information held about you by contacting the practice.
